When I am at shows, I try to make
everything as fun as possible for the dogs. They are run twice a day,
and if available, I take them for a swim.
When I can, most of the dogs are
bathed every day at the shows. Obviously, this is not possible with
all breeds, but when it is I do it. I feel that they look their best
when clean, and in the summer it makes them nice and cool.
They are all fed in the early evening,
and given a few hours of rest in their crates. After this, they all
get walked and retire for a few hours in the pens. And then, off to
bed for their big day to start all over.
